Chriskate.net Home   Introduction
Mary Liz started these Memoirs when she made a casual remark that I should write up my life so that future generations know something about us in later years.

Her date books, that she has kept since 1938, were a big help by providing dates and in jogging the memory. It was surprising how much one remembers when they focus on a specific date or event.

After years of effort to get Mary Liz to use the word processor this project finally got her to the keyboard. She did fine and I'm sure she will follow this effort with writings about our genealogy and her other interests.

Our original idea was to produce a simple transcript and to make a printout on the computer. When we showed it to Chris, he was full of ideas. He improved the type and format and produced a real booklet. We are so pleased with his efforts.
