Course: Dessert Ingredients
1/2 c margerine
1 c sugar
2 c flour - sifted
3 t baking poweder
1 c milk
1 t vanilla
2/3 c semisweet chocolate - grated
2 egg whites Directions
Cream margerine, and 1/2 sugar. Mix flour & baing powder and add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla and chocolate. Beat egg whites stiff to a marange gradually add res of sugar to marage, then fold into 1st mixture. Pour into 2 9" round tins, greased and floured.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool.

Icing (double batch):
1/2 c margerine
1 1/2 c confectioners sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 package chocolate chips

Beat together until fluffy and ice cake.

Melt chocolate in double boiler and pour over top of cake.
